Tsung Tsin International Junior School Section

Course Objective: An English-speaking section with elements of the best international curriculum, including International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement, IJSS is a school aligned with the local system. Providing students with maximum flexibility in their choices of future studies, this approach ensures the broadest outlook whilst maintaining the focus of local syllabi, particularly in Chinese Language and Mathematics. French and Japanese are amongst the possible language choices that will contribute to the international flavour of IJSS in Junior 5 and Junior 6. Medium of Instruction: English Language as the medium of instruction for all subjects except Chinese Language and P.E where Putonghua is used.

Subjects (number of teaching periods per week): English Language(9), Chinese Language(9), Putonghua(2), Maths(7), Science and General Studies(5), Information and Communication Technologies(1), Drama and Communication(1), Bible(1), Religious Education(1), Moral Education(1), Music(2), Physical Education(2), Art and Design(3), Fun Activities(1).

Class Teacher: Native English-speaking Teacher

Other Supporting Teachers: majored in the target subject

Class Size: 25 to 28

Teacher-student ratio: 1 : 25 to 28 (Remarks: (1) maximum 29 (2) not less than 1.5 teachers per class)

Class Hours: 8:05 a.m. ¡V 3:30 p.m.

Enrolment: Download an application form from our School Home Page at http://www.ttpskg.edu.hk and send it to our School General Office with a cheque of $50 for the registration fee (payable to ¡§Tsung Tsin Primary School and Kindergarten), one photo, 6 self-addressed stamped envelopes, copy of the applicant¡¦s birth certificate and copy of the School Report Cards (if any).

Admission Requirements: Interview by a Native English-speaking Teacher

Approved School Fees: $ 4,800 per month X 10 installments
